Classes are categorized by skills and capabilities, not necessarily age however many children may fall within a specific category by age as listed below. We believe this provides an opportunity for all children to succeed in the environment that is best for their development.
We will rely on your judgment for the placement of your children within a specific class. After the semester has started we reserve the right to move a child if we determine the child would be more successful in another class.
Sprouts – 2 & 3-year-old
Seedlings 4 - 6-year-old, non-readers & early reading interest has begun.
A – (1 – 2 grade) 6 - 8-year-old, with emergent reading and comprehension skills.
B – (3 – 5 grade) 8- 10-year-old, working on elementary grade level studies where some courses require established reading, writing, and comprehension skills that lay the groundwork for further studies.
C – (6 – 8 grade) 11 - 14-year-old- working on middle grade level studies with an interest in abstract thinking, discovering the “why”, and an increased focus on the continuous thread between subjects.
D – (9-12 grade) 14 – 18 year old, working on high school credit level studies, completing most assignments independently, having increased original thought and personal conviction.
