Class Schedule

SEED classes are conducted every Friday on a 10 week semester cycle. Our fall semester begins in September. Our winter semester begins in January. Our schedule also includes two make-up days per semester for inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances.

SEED requires that a parent or adult designated care giver remains on the premises at all times. We are not a drop off facility. Our classes are taught by parents, extended family members, and other community members that wish to share their gifts and talents with our children. Our goal is to have semester classes taught by parents and volunteers however, if the need arises, some classes may be conducted by professional instructors. These classes would incur an additional cost for participation.

Parents and adult care givers that are not teaching are placed in a classroom as a volunteer. Volunteers support the lessons while encouraging students to participate in the class activities.

We start our morning with a group Assembly and prayer time in the Multi-Purpose room. Two historical core class periods are conducted in the morning. Our families can then gather in the Multi-Purpose room for lunch or during warm weather lounge outside. Immediately following lunch our third historical core class period is conducted. We then move on to the enrichment classes for the remainder of the afternoon. Our dads join us for the early evening classes.
